The annual Summer Reading Challenge runs in libraries and encourages children aged 4 to 11 to read for pleasure during the summer holidays, a time when they can lose reading skills and confidence in the long break from school.
This year the Challenge theme is Mischief Makers, inspired by the much-loved children's title Beano, which celebrates its 80th anniversary.
This leaflet is in Hindi. It is aimed at parents and carers of children to encourage take-up of the Summer Reading Challenge.
