**Materials available to all libraries**
The International Booker Prize celebrates translated fiction at its finest. The prize is awarded for a single novel or collection of short stories, and both the writer and the translator will be rewarded equally for their contribution.
The longlist was announced on Thursday 27 February, and you can discover the chosen books on our website.
The prize shortlist will be announced on Thursday 2 April and the winner will be announced on Tuesday 19 May.
We are pleased to offer free promotional materials for libraries to promote this year's prize. Celebrating fiction in translation is a great way of widening reader choice and promoting books that would appeal to people from all different communities.
