The Booker Prize 2024 Winner Digital Pack

Orbital by Samantha Harvey has been named the winner of the Booker Prize 2024. As winner of the prize, they received £50,000. She was presented with their trophy by Chair of the judges, Edmund de Waal, who describes the winner as ‘a book about a wounded world’, adding that the panel’s ‘unanimity about Orbital recognises its beauty and ambition’.

The Booker Prize is the leading literary award in the English-speaking world. Each year, it is awarded to what is, in the opinion of the judges, the best sustained work of fiction written in English and published in the UK and/or Ireland.
