Reading Well for young people

Reading Well Books on Prescription helps people to understand and manage their health and wellbeing using helpful reading available from public libraries.
Building on the successful adult mental health and dementia schemes, a booklist for young people has been developed. The titles provide young people (aged 13 to 18) with information, advice and support for common mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression and stress, and difficult experiences like bullying and exams.
Information leaflets
To support delivery of the scheme, information leaflets are available:
- Leaflets: £33.75 per pack of 500 or £7.25 per pack of 100
The leaflets provide the full book list of 35 titles, information about other resources available in libraries, useful links and signposting to other sources of support.
