Wolfson History Prize 2024 - Winner Digital Pack and Display Competition
Free promotional materials for the Wolfson History Prize 2024
Historian Joya Chatterji has been named the winner of the Wolfson History Prize 2024 for her genre-defying history of South Asia: Shadows at Noon: The South Asian Twentieth Century.
The winner of the most prestigious history writing prize in the UK was announced at a ceremony in central London. Chatterji was awarded £50,000, and celebrated alongside the other five shortlisted authors who each took home £5,000.
We are pleased to offer free digital materials for libraries for this year's prize.
There is a display competition where your library will be in with a chance of winning a full set of the shortlist and we will also highlight the winner on The Reading Agency’s Twitter/X and Facebook platforms, tagging the winning library.
To be in with the chance of winning a set of the shortlisted books, libraries can create a display using the posters, stickers and social media assets. Share a photo of the display on social media by 12 December and tag @WolfsonHistory and @ReadingAgency to enter.
When using social media to promote the Prize, please tag or join in the conversation on social media using @readingagency / @WolfsonHistory and #WolfsonHistoryPrize. We will all like and share as much as possible!
Your materials will be emailed to you following purchase. Please check your junk box if you do not receive it to your inbox. Email jack.phillips@readingagency.org.uk if you have any problems downloading your pack.
