Barbara Kingsolver Backlist Campaign
This summer, Faber is celebrating Barbara Kingsolver's rich backlist ahead of the publication of her upcoming novel, Partita.
Libraries can order free POS packs and copies, including her two Women's Prize for Fiction winners Demon Copperhead and The Lacuna, to create displays. Each pack includes:
- A3 Posters
- Bookmarks
- Postcards
- Reading guides (downloadable pdfs)
- Copies of The Poisonwood Bible, Demon Copperhead, The Lacuna and Flight Behaviour
More about the author
Barbara Kingsolver is the global prize-winning and bestselling author of novels including Unsheltered, Flight Behaviour, The Lacuna, The Poisonwood Bible and Demon Copperhead, as well as books of poetry, essays, and the influential bestseller Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life. Kingsolver’s work has been translated into more than thirty languages and has earned literary awards and a devoted readership. Demon Copperhead won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, the James Tait Black Prize for Fiction and the Women’s Prize, making Barbara the first author to win the latter twice. In 2025, Barbara Kingsolver founded the Higher Ground Women’s Recovery Residence for addiction recovery using royalties from Demon Copperhead. Barbara lives with her family on a farm in southern Appalachia.

Orders for one pack per library only. If you are ordering more than one pack (to disperse to other libraries in your region) you need to also email kathleen.ktorides@readingagency.org.uk to notify her of the individual library names that the packs will be used at. Alternatively, you can do individual orders for each library in the shop. Please place your order by 31 July. Packs may sell out before this date.
