Bloomsbury Children's Books is offering FREE activity packs to libraries for a brand-new diary-format series. Detention Diaries documents the howl-somely funny injustices of Arthur Guppy whose best intentions always lead to the detention room.

Each pack will include the following:

  • A4 cut-out Arthur Guppy and axolotl standees (two different designs)
  • Double sided interactive ‘fill in your detention slip’ bookmarks (packs of 10)
  • A3 posters featuring amazing endorsement quotes
  • A4 sticker sheets showcasing the hilarious illustrations

About the author

Sam Copeland is the award-winning author of the bestselling Charlie Changes into a Chicken series and Waterstones Book of the Month Alex vs Axel. He is a director and agent at RCW Literary Agency and lives in London.

How to order

Orders for one pack per library only. If you are ordering more than one pack (to disperse to other libraries in your region) you need to also email  kathleen.ktorides@readingagency.org.uk to notify her of the individual library names that the packs will be used at. Alternatively, you can do individual orders for each library in the shop. Please place your order by Friday 25 September. Packs may sell out before this date.
