A lifetime of discovery. A century in the making.

Ocean is the landmark publication by the greatest natural history broadcaster of our times on how to save the ocean - and consequently our planet. It is a book almost a century in the making, but one that has never been more urgently needed.

To celebrate publication, libraries and schools are invited to take part in a display competition, for which the winner will receive 1 x copy of Ocean signed by David Attenborough and Colin Butfield plus a £50 National Book Tokens voucher.

The display should help to celebrate the lifeblood of our planet – the ocean, and encourage us all to help save it. Ocean will take you on an unforgettable journey through eight extraordinary habitats, from icy poles to vibrant coral reefs, and we would encourage your display to explore an ocean habitat.

To enter, displays are to be shared on social media to @ReadingAgency, @Johnmurrays using #Ocean or by being sent directly to Kimberley with your feedback (either via SurveyMonkey or emailing). 

Limited display bundles are available to request from John Murray Press. Bundles include:

·       Bookmarks

·       A3 posters

·       Hanging mobiles

·       Downloadable digital assets

·       Resource packs

 

Please note, by ordering a free bundle you are agreeing to create a display using the materials and share the digital assets on social media. You will be expected to send back photos of your display to Kimberley.Sheehan@readingagency.org.uk by 13 June. Please do not order a bundle if you cannot commit to this.

 

What you need to do

Please place your free order by 23 April (note, packs may sell out before this date). Print materials will be sent by post and digital materials by email shortly after this date, or once the packs have sold out.
