Award-winning independent publisher Boldwood Books are celebrating Crime Reading Month in June, with a special Pick Your Poison double feature, spotlighting titles from both their Crime and Psychological Thriller list (The Murder List) and their Cosy Mystery list (Poison and Pens).

Awarded Independent Publisher of the Year at the British Book Awards in 2025, Boldwood are proud champions of all strands of the Crime and Thriller genre. Their books have been longlisted for the Crime Writing Association Daggers, and their authors have appeared at CrimeFest, Noir at the Bar, the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival and more.

Boldwood are partnering with The Reading Agency to help libraries celebrate Crime Reading Month by offering a ‘Pick Your Poison’ Promotional Pack. This pack will include books from bestselling crime authors such as Luke Jennings, author of the Killing Eve series which inspired the beloved BAFTA-winning TV show, million-copy bestseller Valerie Keogh, and Mary Grand, author of the Festive Kindle number one chart topper A Christmas Murder.

Each pack includes:

●    Five of ten crime and mystery titles from Boldwood, including two cosy mysteries and two thrillers. (All librarians will receive Killing Eve: Medusa, other titles will be randomly selected, see titles below)
●    Pack of double-sided ‘Pick Your Poison’ bookmarks
●    Pack of stickers
●    Printable digital assets including a crime and mystery wordsearch

Please place your free order by 16th June (note, packs may sell out before this date). Print materials will be sent by post and digital materials by email once the packs have sold out.
