The Cloud: A Bear and Bird Picture Book Library Activity Packs

Cosy, funny and with heaps of heart, this is a picture book story of first friendship from the beloved creator of the The Boy With Flowers in His Hair, winner of the Oscar's Book Prize, and a picture book prequel to the internationally successful young reader series.

Walker Books is offer display materials to libraries. Each pack will include two World of Jarvis posters, a digital activity pack and a copy of the book.

When Bear arrives at the Woody Woods for the first time, he is looking for a friend. But it seems like all the friends are already taken. But then he meets Bird, who is looking for something, too – the Puffy Fluffy Octopus Cloud! Bear decides to help her look for it and so begins an unexpected adventure... Will they ever find that octopus-shaped cloud? Perhaps they might find something even better?

How to order

Orders for one pack per library only. If you are ordering more than one pack (to disperse to other libraries in your region) you need to also email  kathleen.ktorides@readingagency.org.uk to notify her of the individual library names that the packs will be used at. Alternatively, you can do individual orders for each library in the shop. Please place your order by Friday 23 Feb. Packs may sell out before this date.

This offer is for public and school libraries.
